It’s National Black Cat Day on October 27th! Black cats need a little positive PR as their reputation as an omen of bad luck is well-known (and unearned, frankly). In the lead-up to Halloween, National Black Cat Day provides the chance for feline fans to show off their love for the oft-maligned, but always iconic animal.

Taste of the Fair

While this year's Cumming Country Fair & Festival had to be cancelled due to continued COVID-19 concerns coupled with the event's vast magnitude, City leaders still wanted the community to be able to enjoy one facet of the fair: the FOOD! Thus, Taste of the Fair!!!

Georgia Liquor Barn

Effective October 1, Georgia Liquor Barn (GLB) in Cumming, Ga. is slated to lose there liquor license for 29 days..  District 1 Commissioner Molly Cooper pushed and took a hard stand on this harsh punishment for GLB.  This means that this local business will be closed for the month of October essentially.  Other Businesses with similar infractions have been issued a mere citation and/or fine, they have not been ordered to shut their doors and lose an entire month of revenue.

AJC's Peachtree Road Race goes Virtual Featured
