Effective Friday, May 1, Forsyth County Parks & Recreation will reopen various facilities to the public after being temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The following facilities will reopen May 1 at County parks:

TRAFFIC IMPACT: Various Lane Closures on SR 400 Near Pilgrim Mill Rd. Expected Feb. 25-28
SR 400 will have various scheduled north and southbound lane closures related to work being completed on the Pilgrim Mill Rd. bridge (weather permitting).

Massage Spa in South Forsyth License Revoked
After violations of the county’s massage and spa ordinance, a south Forsyth business has had its license revoked . At the regular meeting on Thursday, Forsyth County Commissioners voted 5-0 to revoke the massage license for Wanli Inc., doing business as Massage Harmony Spa at 2130 Peachtree Parkway, and licensee Chunlan Wang.
Halcyon Opens Two New Food Service Locations
Roswell-based Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee will open its new location at Halcyon on Saturday, bringing the total number of retailers and restaurants open at the Forsyth County mixed-use village to 27 concepts. Johns Creek-based Pharaoh Nails and Spa also opened its new location at Halcyon earlier this month.
Nursing department earns state ranking
The University of North Georgia (UNG) Department of Nursing was ranked No. 11 in the state by Nursing Schools Almanac. The publication collected information from more than 3,000 schools nationally, and less than 35 percent made the final list.
