GOSA’s Single Statewide Accountability System (SSAS) Awards

Congratulations to the 17 Forsyth County schools that recently received the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement’s (GOSA) 2019 Highest Performing and/or Greatest Gains school awards.

Greatest Gains: Daves Creek ES (Platinum), Johns Creek ES (Platinum), Midway ES (Silver), Riverwatch MS (Gold), Settles Bridge ES (Platinum), and Whitlow ES (Bronze).

Highest Performing: Big Creek ES (Platinum), Brookwood ES (Platinum), Daves Creek ES (Platinum), Johns Creek ES (Platinum), Lakeside MS (Silver), Lambert HS (Platinum), Piney Grove MS (Platinum), Riverwatch MS (Platinum), Settles Bridge ES (Platinum), Sharon ES (Platinum), Shiloh Point ES (Gold), South Forsyth HS (Gold), South Forsyth MS (Platinum), Vickery Creek ES (Bronze), Vickery Creek MS (Silver), and Whitlow ES (Bronze).

GOSA used CCRPI data from the 2016-2017, 2017-2018, and 2018-2019 school years to determine Greatest Gains and Highest Performing SSAS awards. Each award category has a Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze tier. Greatest Gains schools must earn a three-year average CCRPI Progress Score in at least the 93rd percentile. Highest Performing schools must earn a three-year average CCRPI Content Mastery Score in at least the 93rd percentile.
