Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce gets new COO

In a press release today--The Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce the promotion of Robin Buckley to Chief Operations Officer (COO) effective immediately.
Prior to this new role, Buckley served, most recently, as the Executive Director of Member Services and Small Business Resource Center and prior to that a small business owner. Buckley has driven countless successful member connections and overseen consistent year over year revenue growth.  A Navy veteran, Buckley is a member of the Johns Creek Veterans Association and serves on the board of directors of Johns Creek Arts Center and Legacy Center Task Force. Her passion for the success of businesses in and around the Johns Creek community makes her uniquely qualified to lead the Chamber. Buckley will now be responsible for the day to day operations of the Chamber as well as, leading strategic growth and working alongside business leaders in the Johns Creek area.
In conjunction with Buckley's role, the Chamber of Commerce is initiating a search for Chief Community Officer (CCO).  The CCO will be a business advocate representing the business interests before the City Council, city committees and commissions.  The CCO will be responsible for attracting, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with major corporate members, small business members, governmental and institutional entities, and the community at large.  This will be a part time position and will report to the Board of Directors.  Resumes can be emailed to [email protected] or faxed to 770 495-0545.
