Forsyth County Schools had a mean score of 1162.  This is slightly down from 1167 in 2018.  There were 2,421 students taking the test.  Decatur City Schools led the state with a score of 1177 from 275 test participates.

The state average is 1048 and national is 1039.  All five of the county’s high schools were among the top 50 in the state.  The SAT is a standardized test used for college admissions in the US.  The test is graded on a scale of 400- 1,600.
