Halcyon Has Six New Openings

Halcyon recently announced six retailers and restaurants are opening their doors at the mixed-use village throughout the remainder of the summer.  

.  The Gibson Co., Salata Salad Kitchen, Joey, Unexpected Pooch Bistro and Boutique and two Market Hall locations, Holmes Slice and CT Al Pastor, are staggered openings between mid-June and early August.

  • The Gibson Co. – Opened June 20th, This Cumming-based home decor shop  debuted its second location to Halcyon, shoppers can discover one-of-a-kind creations from local artists or receive in-house interior design consultation. The Gibson Co. is occupying a storefront across from the Village Green and Cherry Street Brewpub, next to Nina + Leigh boutique.
  • Salata – On June 25th, Salata Salad Kitchen is bringing its first Forsyth County location at Halcyon. This healthy, fast-casual restaurant is known for customizable bowls and wraps with the option of more than 50 ingredients and signature dressings. Located across from CMX Cinébistro and next to Unexpected Pooch, Salata is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
  • Joey – Opening June 29th, Pilates and dance cardio studio Joey is offering private and duet Pilates sessions with limited capacity. Group fitness classes will begin on July 13, which include reformer Pilates, mat Pilates and dance cardio classes.   • CT Al Pastor – Due to it’s popularity Halcyon’s CT Cantina Taqueria is expanding into Halcyon's Market Hall with a new quick-service concept this July. Named after the popular spit-grilled style of cooking pork, CT Al Pastor will serve a menu of authentic Mexican-style tacos and bowls, as well as imported beers, CT's beloved classic margaritas on the rocks and frozen cocktails including piña coladas and more. Located between Gu's Dumplings and Sweet Tuna, the colorful design of the stall will be styled after that of CT Cantina Taqueria while offering a grab-and-go option for guests on the Village Green.
