What About Me?

Hi Foco people! Our loved ones at the HSFC are trying their hardest to get the both of us adopted by Christmas, so this month’s feature should be called, “What About Us?” You see, we are now the longest residents at the shelter. It seems as if no one wants either one of us. So, I am here to tell you about our wonderfulness!

First, let me introduce to you Sissy the cat! She has been here for over 315 days! She was originally picked up by Animal Control but no one ever came for her. She is only 2 years old! Sissy loves to play with toys, esp. toy mice! She loves to snuggle with folks, but it has to be on her terms. She does not like being held or restrained. She is litter box trained and keeps herself well-groomed. The other day, Sissy told me that although she gets along with other cats, she would love to be an only child! She has been through a lot, so who can blame her?

Here is my story. My name is Angela and I'm a 1 year old Border Collie mix. I have been at the HSFC for over 102 days! I, too, was at Animal Control and my owners never came for me. I have a lot of energy so I would love a big backyard to play in! I am awesome on a leash and I love to be loved and cuddled! Here is my secret, but don’t tell Sissy! I really don’t like cats! I do like older children and I’m okay with most other dogs but, I would not mind being an only child!

Well, that’s about all! Is there anyone who wants to adopt us? Please? We each need a home for Christmas! Here is our info!
