They could still return to this parcel at some point in the future. However, residents continue to believe the sewer facility should be in the industrial area off Hwy 306 not only for our quality of life but because we truly believe that is the best placement for future growth in our county.
Cindy Mills has asked the citizens to form a citizen’s panel to work with the county going forward. The vote to terminate the purchase contract demonstrates that the county is sincere in asking our input this time around. The county has demonstrated that they want to work with residents as partners on this project,
