Charges dismissed against Former Forsyth County Sheriff

A lawsuit filed against former Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Frank Huggins alleging violations to bodily privacy has been dismissed.

Huggins, 74, of Cumming, was accused of violating a 16-year-old victim’s right to bodily privacy 48 times by “repeatedly touching her legs, arms, neck and shoulders” while serving as her driving instructor while employed by Lanier Technical College, in civil complaint.

Brief court documents filed in the case state that as of Jan. 4, 2019, the suit was dismissed without prejudice by the plaintiff, the mother of the minor.
