Gov. Nathan Deal ordered and emergency declaration yesterday to include all 159 counties in Georgia. Forsyth County governmen is closely monitoring Hurricane Irma and preparing for the
potential impact we may have. At 8:00 am the county's Emergency Operations Center was opened. Please if you have not already get objects up and stored outside to avoid damage.
Winds have alaready brought down trees and power is out in some areas. Remember to always treat downed power lines as if they are live. Report a power outage by calling your power company
