Anderson's Sunflowers

Written by

The biggest question in Forsyth County this week is…

When will the Sunflowers bloom?

The Anderson’s Sunflowers Farm is expecting the flowers to bloom sometime during the first week of July. We do not have an exact opening date because we do not know when they will actually bloom, but will be posting more in the upcoming days/weeks when we have a better idea. You can check either the Anderson’s Sunflowers on Facebook or check back here at www.forsythcounty.com

ONCE the Sunflowers DO OPEN HERE IS SOME BASIC INFO: The farm WILL BE OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK FROM 8:30 - 8:30 FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS OR WHILE THE FLOWERS LAST.

-Entry fee is $10 per car to walk around and take pictures  CASH OR CHECK ONLY

-Photographers scheduling sessions, its $35 per session.  Photographers will need to provide a list of client's names and pay for  all the sessions upon arrival. ($10 entry fee does not apply to photographers and their clients)

- They will have pre-cut sunflowers for sale by the dozen and half dozen and local honey. If just stopping by to purchase flowers $10 entry fee does not apply.

- You can pick your own flowers for the same price as the pre-cut flowers. They do have clippers that you can borrow.

-The farm is dog friendly (they must be on a leash).

- There are restroom facilities (porta-potties) available

- There are lots of bees, so if you are allergic PLEASE take necessary  precautions. The Anderson Sunflower Farm is not liable for  bee/insect bites.
