The Nutcracker is a Christmas tradition and is performed around the globe during this time of year.  Cumming is no exception.  The Sawnee Ballet Theatre will be performing this holiday classic on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  The performances will be held at the South Forsyth High School Performing Arts Auditorium.  Times of the performances are:  

Friday, December 14th - 8 p.m.
Saturday, December 15th - 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Sunday, December 16th - 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

You will be dazzled by a Christmas tree that grows larger than life, a lively battle between soldiers and mice, snow that falls and much more. Sawnee Ballet Theatre’s production of this enchanting full-length ballet brings the magical characters in Clara’s dream to life.  Each year, Artistic Director Joan Kall Stewart brings something new to the performance, and this year is no different!  Tickets are $15 at the door and can also be bought in advance at Humpus Bumpus Bookstore and the Sawnee School of Ballet.
