Outdoor Burning Ban Extended Print E-mail
Friday, 14 December 2007
The Forsyth County ban on outdoor burning has been extended indefinitely.  The ban, which has been in effect since October, was set to expire on January 4, 2008.  The drought and forecasts of little to no rain for the foreseeable future prompted Forsyth County Fire Chief Danny Brown to extend the ban beyond the January date.  The ban includes campfires, recreational burning and leaf burning.  For additional information, you may contact the Forsyth County Fire Department at 770-781-2180.
