Students across the county are celebrating the closure of Forsyth County Schools tomorrow, January 17th, due to the snowy weather.  A winter storm warning was also issued for Forsyth County until 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning.  Accumulations of 1 to 3 inches of snow are possible.  Freezing rain is expected after midnight causing icy conditions on roadways and power lines.  Use extreme caution if you must travel.
