DOT Meeting on Proposed Hwy 20 Truck Route |

The Department of Transportation will hold a meeting to discuss the proposed Highway 20 Truck Route on Wednesday, June 20th, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners meeting room located in the County Administration Building. The proposed Highway 20 Truck Route currently has two alternatives - one which takes the widening of Highway 20 through the Bethelview/Chamblee Gap/Kelly Mill community. Concerned citizens are encouraged to attend the meeting. For more information on the alternatives, visit the DOT website (http://www.dot.state.ga.us/), then click on Public Outreach. From there, select Forsyth County from the drop down menu, then choose SR20 Widening FM SR 371 to SR 400. There you will be able to view the details of both alternative routes.
