CPL Phillips, was Killed In Action on Sunday, 13 July 2008 in Afghanistan. Please join us at the Cumming VFW Post as we pay respect to Matthew Phillips. If you are unable to attend, please join us in private prayer.
   His procession is scheduled for approximately 12:15pm this Saturday the 26th. We intend to meet at VFW Post 9143 in Cumming, 1045 Dahlonega Hwy. at 12:00pm; noon. The motorcade will pass the Post. Please feel free to come to the Post early for fellowship. Parking is plentiful. The VFW Post is requesting a large turnout of VFW and LAVFW members to line the procession route (Dahlonega Highway, aka HWY 9) from downtown Cumming to Coal Mountain Baptist Church.
   VFW Members are requested to wear Black Pants, Post Shirt (or plain White) and their Service Cap. LAVFW Members are requested to wear their designated Auxiliary uniform or other tasteful patriotic apparel.
