Bring One for the Chipper |
|
The annual Bring One for the Chipper event sponsored by Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB), will be held on January 5, 2008. The six locations in Forsyth County (click below for a list of locations) will be taking the Christmas trees and processing them into mulch. In 2007, over 6,700 trees were recylced through this program. The mulch is used for nature trails, playgrounds and landscaping materials. The mulch will be available for delivery by Davey Tree and Lawn care on a first-come, first-served basis to Forsyth County residents. To request a delivery, visit www.forsythco.com and complete the mulch request form. To receive additional information regarding Christmas tree recycling or mulch delivery, call KFCB at 770-205-4573.
