New Ramps for Lake Lanier

Hey Guys and Girls.....Talked to Asst. Hall County Dir. Phil Sutton yesterday....they are putting in the cofer dam at Laurel Park with in 10 days and will start moving dirt for the new ramps Nov. 1st. Ramps are going in to 1048 (full pool is 1071). Corps have ok'd tournaments to 1051 once new ramps are completed. Some of the fisherman that fish Lanier tournaments got the contract....thought that was pretty cool. When the whole project is finished we will be able to park close to 400 and have restrooms on site. Once the ramps are done the cofer dam is going to Balus Creek to extend that ramp to a deep water ramp and then to Sardies Creek to extend that ramp....just thought you might like to know....Smokey
